California Dreaming

“Darkly I gaze into the days ahead,

And see her might and granite wonders there,

Beneath the touch of Time’s unerring hand,

Like priceless treasures sinking in the sand”

Excerpt from "America" by Claude McKay

Travelling not only provides us with a welcome opportunity to recharge the batteries, but is also a wonderful way to foster creativity and reset the mind. New sights, sounds, flavours, aromas, textures and experiences provide us with unlimited sources of inspiration and wonder. All of which helps us to keep pushing the boundaries of creativity, eventually manifesting itself in the jewellery treasures we handcraft.

This year we have been incredibly fortunate to spend time exploring and immersing ourselves in North America. Over the next two blog posts, we’ll share with you the places that we loved. We’d love to hear about your travel experiences too. We’ll start off with the sunshine state, California, before venturing to the East Coast style meccas of New York and Miami.
